26-01 · Engineer (1–3 Years’ Experience)
Damansara Perdana, Petaling Jaya
THE ROLE
Work within Ohr's engineering team on varied projects, developing technical capability, sound engineering judgement and practical design experience through guidance and collaboration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Undertake engineering analysis, design and calculations under appropriate supervision.
- Prepare drawings, sketches, technical documents and reports.
- Develop engineering solutions considering design intent, construction requirements and buildability.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
- Participate in design reviews, technical discussions and site visits.
- Take responsibility for the accuracy and timely delivery of assigned work.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 1–3 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Sound understanding of fundamental engineering principles.
- Ability to use relevant engineering software and prepare clear technical documentation.
- Good analytical, communication and organisational skills.
- Curiosity, initiative, attention to detail and willingness to learn.
26-02 · Engineering Intern
Damansara Perdana, Petaling Jaya
THE ROLE
Gain practical experience in an engineering consultancy, working alongside Ohr's team on live projects and learning how engineering principles are applied to real design and construction challenges.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist engineers with analysis, calculations and design tasks under supervision.
- Support preparation of drawings, sketches and technical documentation.
- Research engineering systems, materials and construction methods.
- Participate in project discussions and technical reviews.
- Learn how engineering decisions respond to project requirements and constraints.
- Seek clarification, respond to feedback and contribute to the team.
REQUIREMENTS
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Sound understanding of engineering fundamentals appropriate to the stage of study.
- Genuine interest in engineering and the built environment.
- Logical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, curious and willing to learn.
