Opened in 1958, Felda Lurah Bilut is the first agricultural settlement in Malaysia. It is intended that this iconic multipurpose hall and play area will revive and regenerate the sense of identity, community and purpose in the settlement, preventing migration of the younger generation.

Although timber is an uncommon structural material here in Malaysia, there were some well thought through entries, showing good understanding of timber architecture and timber as structural material.
