A lightweight steel system designed for flat-pack transport.
The client sought a modular residential structural system using thin-gauge steel components that could be flat-packed into shipping containers and easily assembled on site. Ohr developed and designed the structural system to meet these requirements, integrating structural performance with the practicalities of transportation and assembly.
The structure is broken down into components for flat-pack shipment. The member arrangement was developed with the packing and assembly sequence in mind.
Light-gauge steel sections form the proposed modular system. Its structural design considered the members and connections needed to turn the delivered components into a stable building.
