01 / OUR EDITORIALS

Our Editorials.

We write to share knowledge, question established practices and encourage better ways of thinking about engineering and the built environment.

Through Ohr Notes, Pink Musings and Best Practice, we explore technical subjects, professional practice and ideas that we believe deserve wider discussion.

02 / FRAME OF THOUGHTS

Frame of Thoughts

A monthly, peer-led conversation that starts with a question rather than a lecture. Open to people from different backgrounds and industries, Frame of Thoughts creates room to think, listen and exchange perspectives. Explore previous topics and find the next gathering.

03 / THE LOAD PATH

The Load Path

The Load Path is Ohr’s periodic technical webinar series exploring the fundamentals of structural engineering. Each session examines a particular subject, explaining how structures behave, why the principles matter and how they inform practical design decisions. The series is intended for those seeking a deeper understanding of engineering, from students and emerging professionals to experienced practitioners.

Sessions are delivered online and announced individually, with topics selected for their relevance to engineering practice. The series has no fixed quarterly schedule.

04 / FIRST PRINCIPLES

First Principles.

First Principles is Ohr's free, two-month structural engineering discovery programme: 40 days at four hours per day. Designed for ages 16 and above, with motivated 15-year-olds considered individually, it introduces structural behaviour, engineering judgement and independent thinking to young people exploring an engineering career.
